Insight
Pub Fare in Old Town Alexandria!
At the bottom of King Street, you can't beat the atmosphere at this amazing Irish restaurant and pub! With amazing antiques, snug nooks and crannies, 4 bars and cozy fireplace, you will feel at home and warm as you view this amazing menu and outstanding beer menu! They also have lots of fun events and live music to check out! Their menus are seasonal, but I always will recommend the Guinness Burger with a pint of Guinness or Magners Cider! Their warm bread pudding is a must if you have room left for dessert!

The Sushi Bar
On the main strip of Mount Vernon Ave in the #DelRay neighborhood, #TheSushiBar features specialty sushi that you would not find anywhere else. My favorite -- the dream roll, kamikaze roll, and crazy monkey (can't really pick just one). Great place for a #sushinightout with that special someone. wink emoticon #eatplayliveVA

Great Public Golf Course!
Greendale Golf Course, located off of Telegraph Rd. is a great escape from the hustle and bustle that we are all too familiar with. The course is well maintained, challenging enough for experienced golfers but playable for the rest of us. Priced right for those of us not looking to travel across the state on a saturday morning for a round of golf, this is definitely worth a visit.

Remembering My Dad
I moved my dad from Philadelphia to Alexandria just before I had my first child. He loved living there because he was close to the water and he could walk to the Potomac River. His favorite thing in the whole world to do was fish. It's something we shared together when I was growing up. He would pack up the tackle box/seat I bought him for his birthday and go fishing. He's gone now, but if there is water in heaven I'm sure that he is gone fishing!
